Two words... Shabby chic. This was the best thing I ever did in my room. I had ordinary plain furniture from when I was younger. I couldn't afford the desired furniture I'd really love from websites like melody maison so I'm saving hard for that but for the time being I wanted to re vamp my room without spending a lot. This only called for one thing.

- White paint! It's amazing how different my room now looks just by shabby chicing my furniture. This is a very inexpensive way to add character and style to your room. I got a tin of Annie Sloan chalk paint. This can cost between £10-18 depending on how much you need. I used one large tin for 3 pieces of large furniture (bargain!!💰)

This process took me about 3 days. I sanded all of it down with an electric sander, wiped with damp cloth, left to dry then applied 2-3 coats of white paint. After doing this I used sand paper to create the distressed look. It was well worth it!

Fairy lights ~

These have to be the cutest and cheapest way to make your room look so good but barely spending anything. These were bought for me for my birthday & I think they're from amazon. I think the Polaroid photos clipped on with little pegs just adds that super instagramable feeling to it. This is an inexpensive way to had style to your room without breaking the bank.

Flowers 🌸🌹

I think placing a pretty bunch of flowers in any room instantly lifts the mood and just looks amazing. It can brighten a room but also add that femine touch. You can get beautiful flowers from Aldi or Lidl and it's not completely out of budget prices like some other supermarkets.

Re-using old pots!

This is a really cheap and cheerful way of making us of things you might of thrown out! Sweet jars and sugar pots are perfect for flowers or storing your makeup brushes in. This saves spending our on brush holders online & using items you already own

Thanks for reading & I hope some of these ideas help you to create your perfect instagram-able bedroom 💕

Love, Natalie x
